- Water dispenser for shoe polish. A product that helps a lot when shining shoes, with a simple touch you get a small dose of water on the cloth or finger.

Saphir Medaille d'Or Mirror Gloss wax polish
Saphir Medaille d'Or Mirror Gloss wax is one of the latest products Saphir has developed, its purpose is especially to make it easy to achievie a real spit shine. During several years they have tested their way with mixes of montan, carnuba, beeswax and other secret waxes to provide the perfect high shine wax. The wax is harder and it's properties makes it easier to quickly get a shine.
Recommended to use in combination with first Saphir Medaille d'Or Crème Pommadier shoe cream and Pate de Luxe wax, where you use Mirror Gloss for the final finish on the toe and heel.
Contains 75 ml. For guidance on which colour to choose for your shoes, here is a substantial guide. Make sure to always test the product on a hidden area first.
Water drop dispenser
High quality glass dispenser with stainless steel details which is used to store the polish water and to give you a perfect amount every time. Just press the button gently and a small drop will appear on your finger or cotton cloth, used when applying the wax polish on your shoes. The water reduces the friction so that you with quick movements can create heat which causes the wax to settle in, and this way you layer by layer can build up a nice high-shine which both protects and gives a great look.
Instead of filling a small cup with water or the lid of the wax polish, which you then have to dispense, with this container you always have water easily accessible without the risk of spilling. A given products if you take your shoe care seriously.
The glass dispenser contains 150 ml of water and is about 10 cm high including the stainless steel pump. Another plastic pump is also included.
Saphir polishing cloth
Polishing cloth in high quality from Saphir, which is used to apply cream and wax, or other products for care or cleaning. Made in a soft cotton weave which doesn't scratch the leather or the layer of polish, and with stitched edges to prevent threads coming loose.
Put the cloth around one or two fingers, twist it and take it round the hand and grip it. Change area of use every now and then so all products doesn't end up in the same place. It's advisable to not use the same cloth for both shoe care products and cleaning products, since the cleaners may dissolve the polish. If the cloth gets very dirty or full of products, it's possible to wash it in a washing machine in 30°.

How to use
Saphir Medaille d'Or Mirro Gloss is a wax polish that is specifically developed to easily build an amazing shine. It can be used as the sole wax, but it's recommended to first use Saphir Pate de Luxe which gives more care and is better for the base of the shine.
Use a polishing cloth and apply with light, quick circular movements a thin layer of wax, don't use too much, and every now and then you dip the cloth in water put small drips of water directly on the shoe, to reduce friction. It can be good to use a bit more water with Mirror Gloss compared to Pate de Luxe.Â
On the hard heel stiffener and especially on the toe you can build up a proper high shine with more thin layers of Mirror Gloss. A so-called spit-shine or bullet shine. Continue with small drips of water and thin layers of wax, pause regularly for 5-10 minutes and let the wax harden, and brush up the finish again, now ideally with a shoe brush with goat hair that doesn't scratch the shiny finish. Can also be used on the sole- and heel edge to achieve a shine on these.
