- Shoe brush large

Shoe trees in cedar wood which are expandable both in length and width. To use a pair of shoe trees of high quality will prolong the lifespan of your shoes considerably, since it helps the shoes retain its shape at the same time as they can dry in a good way. Shoe trees stretch out creases and make sure that the toe doesn’t rise up.
Manufactured in untreated red cedar wood with a lovely scent, which absorb moisture in a great way at the same time as it eliminates potential odour and deter harmful insects. Brass coloured, stainless steel parts and a practical knob, which makes it easy to put in and take out the shoe trees. Also works excellent in boots, since the most important job for a shoe tree is to straighten the sole and creases over the vamp, if you turn the shoe tree slightly outwards when you insert it it will slip in easily.
The trees are relatively large in size, it’s common to go down 0,5-1 size compared to the size you wear in your Goodyear welted shoes, more info in this guide. For women’s shoes we recommend that you go down two sizes compared to your shoe size, in this guide there's more info on shoe trees for women's shoes. You can also adjust the width with a screw, more info below.
Note that shoe trees are not intended to stretch shoes, only to retain the original shape. If you need to stretch shoes that are too small, see our shoe and boot stretchers here.
Don’t miss our excellent quantity discount with prices as low as €17/pair (including VAT). More information about this further down. You may mix sizes and still receive the quantity discount.
How to use
Make It a habit to always insert your shoe trees straight after youâve arrived home and taken the shoes off, when they are still moist, since the shoe trees are extra important at that time. If you turn the trees slightly outwards when you insert and remove them it will make it easier, especially on boots.
While youâre at it, brush off dirt with a shoe brush or wipe them off with a dishcloth, and have two pairs of shoes to switch between so they are allowed to dry properly. This in combination with some shoe cream every now and then will make wonder for the lifespan of your shoes. Good for your shoes, good for your wallet and not least good for the environment. More about basic shoe care in this guide.
Adjust the width of the shoe trees
The springy outer part of the shoe trees front can easily be adjusted in width, with the screw on the side. Below a film showing how itâs done. It's important to contract the front part before turning the screw.
Perhaps the best shoe cream in the world. Saphir Medaille d'Or Crème Pommadier is very easy to work with, goes deep into the leather and effectively covers marks and revive the colour. If you wish to achieve a higher shine you may combine it with Saphir Pate de Luxe wax for the final shining finish and further protection.
For guidance on which colour to choose for your shoes, here is a substantial guide.

Saphir Medaille d'Or Crème Pommadier is a very ample shoe cream, so use small amounts and apply eventy over the shoe, either with a polishing cloth or an applicator brush. Also use this brush for the area between the upper and the sole edge, and don't forget the sole- and heel edge itself which also is of leather and needs care and new colour.

A wax polish that is very easy to use and gives further protection and not least shine. Saphir Medaille d'Or Pate De Luxe consists of only natural ingredients, several types of waxes and is the product to choose if you want to achieve a really high shine or to build patina on your shoes. Preferably together with Saphir Medaille d'Or Créme Pommadier shoe cream (which you apply first). The polish can also be used alone. For an extra quick shine, try Saphir Medaille d'Or Mirror Gloss.
Read more about how to use the product below. For guidance on which colour to choose for your shoes, here is a substantial guide.
Contains 50 ml. Make sure to always test the product on a hidden area first.
How to use
Saphir Medaille d'Or Pate De Luxe is a wax polish that gives good protection and can be used to build up an amazing shine. Use a polishing cloth and apply with light, quick circular movements a thin layer of wax over the shoe, don't use too much, and every now and then you dip the cloth in water put small drips of water directly on the shoe, to reduce friction. Can also be used on the sole- and heel edge to achieve a shine on these.
You may put maximum two layers of wax over the entire shoe, don't do more on the parts that move since the wax surface may crack. Let the shoe rest 5-10 minutes and then brush with a shoe brush with horsehair bristles.
On the hard heel stiffener and especially on the toe you can build up a proper high shine with more thin layers of Pate de Lux. A so-called spit-shine or bullet shine. Continute with small drips of water and thin layers of wax, pause regularly and let the wax dry, and brush up the finish again, now ideally with a shoe brush with goat hair that doesn't scratch the shiny finish.
