All our own Skolyx brushes are manufactured in the European centre for brush manufacturing, in the German Black Forest region, in a factory that has made brushes for over 80 years. Local beechwood is used for the handles, and for the horsehair brushes we only use bristles from the tail, which is the best quality which minimise hairs coming loose.

Goat hair brush
Shoe care brush with very soft goat hair bristles, perfect for the final finish or to get rid of dirt and dust without harming the shine. Handle in exclusive beechwood with an ergonomic shape, which also has a slightly curved shape to be easy to use.
Especially if you like to polish up a proper high shine with Saphir Pate de Luxe wax a goat hair brush is a necessity. Horsehair brushes tend to cause tiny scratches in the shiny finish, while the goat hair is more gentle. Once you've tried a goat hair brush, you never want to stop use it. Made in Germany for Skolyx, where the factory use local wood and has a climate neutral production.

Applicator brush with long handle
Applicator brush of very high quality, ergonomically designed handle which makes the brush fit well in any jar and makes it easy to apply the cream. An application brush may be used to apply the cream over the whole shoe, though you may also use a polishing cloth if you prefer that. However the application brush is necessary to be able to put cream in the area between the upper and the sole edge, where it's important with good care and protection. The oval shape of the brush head makes it easy to access tight areas. The brush also makes it easier to apply cream on grain leather.
