TLB Artista Brogued Cap Balmoral Oxford Vegano Dark Brown GMTO

A lot of people think that you have to wear heavier shoes during autumn and winter, since rubber soled more durable shoes normally can't be done as neat as leather soled ones. With TLB Mallorca Artista and the single city rubber soles we have turned this conception entirely upside down. Here the rubber sole is more elegant and dainty than most RTW makers leather soles, with a super slim bevelled waist, neat sole edges which also are rounded at the waist, and a tight cut heel. 

Here we have put this on a gorgeous Brogued Cap Toe Balmoral Oxford in a dark brown leather from the French tannery Annonay, made on the soft chiseled Picasso last. The heel stiffener is in real leather which will conform to your foot shape in the best way.

Group MTO information:
This GMTO is open during November, and we have no minimum amount so all orders will be produced no matter how many orders we have. We also offer the right to exchange if you dont find the perfect size at first try. We will then produce a new pair in the requested size for you. Return costs to us is payed by you and we pay for the new shipping to you.

Sizing:
Sizes are considered normal, they are comparable to other Goodyear welted shoes like Yanko, Loake, Crockett & Jones and Carmina. Here you'll find an extensive size guide to all our shoes. If you are still uncertain on your size, please e-mail ktj@skolyx.se for further guidance.

Shoe care:
Use Saphir Creme 1925 and Pate De Luxe in Havana or dark brown for regular care. Use Saphir Creme Renovateur 1-2 times / year for deep cleaning and nourishing. Dont apply wax too fast after the application of Saphir creme 1925. Wait and let every layer fasten correctly before brushing it up and proceed to the next layer.

When ordering engraved products, there is an additional delivery time of 5-8 working days. In the case of a special order (customized shoes where you choose the leather, sole, etc.) of shoes, so-called MTO (made to order) / GMTO (group made to order), the estimated delivery time is about 6-8 weeks.

Returns & exchanges

You may return or exchange whole or part of your order if you notify us within 14 days after you received your products. Return costs are covered by you and shipping of exchange products are covered by us.
Return and exchange rights do not apply to products with engraving, made to order products and group made to order products.

TLB Mallorca Artista
Full list of features which all are either very rare or unique for this price range:

  • Extremely slim bevelled waists, which accentuates the shape of the shoe. Made with stitching all the way back to the heel, so the waist is not only cemented or Blake stitched as is commonly seen when making narrower waists.
  • Bevelling of the waist continues in under the heel, which normally almost only can be found on bespoke shoes. This creates a stronger waist, and looks more natural.
  • Real leather heel stiffeners (not leather board), conforms to the feet in the best way, and is a living material that can be re-shaped if needed.
  • Close-cut heels, follows the natural lines of the shoes.
  • Very smooth sanded sole and heel edges, also the waist edge is smooth, which is very rare to see. This not only looks lovely, it makes it much easier to polish them and keep the edges in good condition.
  • Tight sole stitch of 8 spi (stitches per inch), together with a well-balanced fudge wheel setting.
