Swims became known for their acclaimed galoshes a number of years ago, and is today a major player with both shoes and clothes that, like their overshoes, combine classic with modern, urban with wilderness. A brand from Norway that develops and tests its products in the toughest possible climate, to offer stuff that lasts a long time.

Swims' galoshes are now world famous, thanks to their good fit, durable rubber, frayed inside that is relatively gentle on the shoes, and the wide range of colors. We have four different color options to choose from in our range.

Nowadays we also have several different models of shoes from Swims, as they have been an appreciated addition by our customers. The combination of light weight, durable and easy-care materials and stylish design appeals to many. Not least the comfort makes them a favourite for many.

Where does Swims come from?

Swims was founded in Oslo, Norway, in 2006 by Johan Ringdal, who decided to update and modernize the classic galoshes. Swims galoshes became a smash hit that spread across the world, and today the brand offers a wide range of galoshes, shoes, clothing and accessories - all with functional construction and design as a benchmark. The brand describes its mission as "to design with Scandinavian simplicity and flair for passionate individuals that enjoy life to the fullest whether in the city, on the beach, on the mountains or somewhere in between".

Are Swims shoes water resistant?

One of the advantages of Swims' shoes is that they can withstand the elements in the best possible way, whether it's snow and slush with their Snowrunners or salt water on the beach with their loafers. Both the rubber and the textile used are durable and hard-wearing, and in addition, for example, several of the sneakers can be machine washed.

Do Swims run small or large in size?

Swims' shoes are normal in size, most people have the same size in these as in most other sneakers and similar shoes. As for the galoshes, follow the size guide and choose a size within the right range.
