    Shoe stretcher

    $22

If you have a pair of shoes that are a bit snug or press in the wrong area, you can use this shoe stretcher made of cedar wood to stretch the shoes. Either the whole front part, or if you like a special area to get out with the accompanying knobs in different sizes that can be attached on various places of the shoe tree.

We recommend that the area to be stretched is treated with a leather softener, developed to help the leather loosen up and avoid harm. We offer Tarrago Shoe Expander in 125 ml.

Delivered as one single shoe stretcher, if both shoes need stretching you do one at a time. Note that due to how shoes are constructed, almost no shoes can be stretched in length, only width. Can not be used for boots since the turn-handle needs space enough to fit, we have another stretcher suitable for boots.

    Available in three sizes:
Small - For smaller mainly women's shoes, approximately EU35-39 (marked with W under the stretcher)
Medium - For larger women's shoes or smaller men's shoes, approximately EU40-42 (marked with M under the stretcher)
Large - For larger men's shoes, approximately EU43-46.

Here you'll find a guide on how to stretch your shoes using this product.

Note, for best result, it is recommended to visit a cobbler who can do a proper stretching of the shoes. With this you may try to solve it yourself.

Instructions for stretching/expanding shoes with our stretchers:

    1. Before inserting the stretcher, moist the outside and the inside of the shoe where you intend to stretch it with a leather softener. We recommend Tarrago Shoe Expander which is specially developed for this purpose.
    2. If you want to stretch out one or more specific points, use the knobs provided and place them on the stretcher where you wish to stretch out the shoe. If the knobs do not end up exactly where you want to expand it, adjust the entire stretcher in the shoe so that the knobs are positioned correctly.
If you only want to extend the width of the shoe, do not use the knobs, just the stretcher itself.
    3. When the stretcher is placed in the shoe, screw on both the adjustment hook and the adjustment ring until the stretcher fills the shoe and makes contact with the leather of the shoe. Now turn the rear hook to stretch the block in width/width and the adjusting ring to increase the pressure on the length. Do not turn more than 4 turns, otherwise the pressure may be too great and damage the leather.
    4. Let the stretcher sit for 8 hours and then remove the block and try on the shoes. If the shoe needs more stretching, repeat the process.

Note, we take no responsibility for any damage to the shoes as a result of stretching, since it depends on several factors regarding quality, condition etc. of the shoes that we cannot influence.
